Libby & George Motherhood Session

The very sweet Libby brought her lovely little 8-month-old, George, in to see me for his sitter session. A sitter session is a photography shoot around the 7-9 month age, when baby is sitting independently but not yet crawling. It’s a great age to capture babies still looking very much like babies but with plenty of expression and personality.

When George tired towards the end of his shoot (it’s a big morning for a little one!) Libby asked if she could offer her son some skin-to-skin to give him some comfort. I am completely here to support mamas to support their babies however they need in their sessions, so I of course said yes, and how beautiful are these moments? A mama and her boy, connected in love.
